In 2022, Burke released his first special “Escape From Jacksonville” that was filmed at Kevin Smith’s “Smodcastle”. Several clips from the album went viral on instagram and youtube….meaning he has to write new stuff now. Joe Weber Joes comedy career began as a server in a local New Jersey club…he still works there but now, five years later, he’s the one with the mic in his hand.

LOL Annapolis – Kristen Sivills with David Beck

Feb 17: Kristen Sivills Bio: Kristen Sivills is a native of Virginia Beach., VA. Since 2012, she’s been performing stand up comedy from Virginia Beach FunnyBone and Cozzy’s Comedy Club in Virginia to the JSpot Comedy Club and The Comedy Store in LA.   She’s appeared on TV One’s Roland Martin Show (but it was only twice, calm down) and participated in the 2016 Memphis Comedy Festival. Part of Anjelah Johnson’s east coast crew, she’s also worked with Tone Bell, Ralph Harris, Tom Segura, Finesse Mitchell (you get the point). She’s also a radio personality with Norfolk based, Top 40 station, WNVZ Z104 (Entercom). She has the dopest kids on the planet, was accidentally voted Most Likely to Be Famous in high school and is the best cook you’ve never met. She now hosts the hilarious podcast “And Then We Had Sex”David BeckDavid is originally from a small town in Virginia. He now resides in Springfield, Missouri. (Thanks to marrying the woman with the loudestlaugh in the comedy club one night) Originally starting out as an observational comedian, but now he has grown into a more versatile higherenergy style which includes quick one-liners. Silly often thought provoking sometimes edgy social commentary. Never one to leave himself out of theshow, everything in his personal life is fair game, his upbringing, everything he cares about and things he doesn’t and of course his experience withmarried life. Unlike a lot of comedians David chooses to stay positive about marriage, never attacking it or his wife in the process. David feels telling the truth about marriage is not negative, and men and women alike are entertained by his unique view of this relationship between the sexes.  The truth is one reoccurring theme in David’s comedy. He chooses not to make up wild scenarios or characters to find humor. This is a key aspect of his show and feels people can relate better to him by letting people know who he really is, and how he sees the world around him. David does however have an off-beat way of thinking, and it is easy to think his material is “made up” or embellished, but as the show goes on the audience quicklyrealizes his brain is just a little off, and that’s usually when he hears his one of his favorite compliments, “You’re not right!” One of his other favoritecompliments is when people mention how clean his show is, with a lack of colorful language, or explicit material. This just expands his appeal to awider range of audience. David is quick to point out that his show is not “G” rated but an adult show with some innuendo that doesn’t use vulgarity to get his point across.
